Kata orang2, padahal saya baru 5 minggu di bagian bedah fatmawati, udah jadi kurus... hiks... otot2 idaman ilang kemana ya??

Your Heart

There are two important organs of the body, brain and heart. Between heart and brain, the most important is heart. One can life only with heart eventhough he or she will live an unlife life. Heart divided into two, atrial and ventricle. Atrial is located in upper part of heart and ventricle is located in lower part of heart.

There are two valve in the heart, tricuspid valve and mitral valve. Tricuspid valve located between the right atrial and right ventricle. Mitral valve is located between the left atrial and left ventricle.

The valve function is to open and closed when the blood runs through them. There are situation when the valve can not closed properly, we called it mitral insufficiency for mitral and tricuspid insufficiency. The other situation is when the valve can not open properly, we called it mitral stenosis for mitral and tricuspid stenosis for tricuspid.

Usually when these situations happen, the surgeon must do a surgery to help the person. Mitral valve surgery is the example if these situation is happens in the mitral valve. The surgeon must do mitral valve repair in order make the heart beats normally again. If the surgeon can not do the repair then mitral valve replacement is the answer. Is is done by replace the valve with several varieties of artificial valves including mechanical (metal) valves and tissue valves

Di Rumah Sakit, kata 'An." Itu berarti 'anak', jadi kalau anak kecil yang datang berobat kita menyebutnya An. A, An. B, dst.

Suatu malem datang An.A, perempuan, 5 tahun, ke IGD ditemani ibunya. Ia mengeluh sakit di perut sebelah kanan. Gejala-gejalanya menunjukkan appendisitis. Yang membuat pemeriksaan menjadi sulit ialah dia itu tipe2 anak2 yang amat sangat manja sekali. Jadi kalau kita mendekat dan hanya mencoba menyentuh tangannya, mukanya langsung berubah pengen nangis, dan nangis. Tapi saya menyimpulkan dia manja bukan dari situ, tapi dari dia ga mau diselimutin oleh ibunya dan selalu berteriak "mama..mama..", beda sama anak sebelahnya yang mungkin baru berusia 3 tahun tapi dengan antengnya diem saja..

Kebayang ga gimana mau ditekan, dicari letak posisi yang sakitnya diperut, atau dipasang infusan? Ya, dia menjerit2 tak karuan. Setelah dioperasi, ternyata benar dia appendisitis plus perforasi (berarti sudah ada kebocoran pada appendix nya).

Lalu, suatu malem datang An. F, pria, 2 tahun, ke IGD. Ia datang dengan panas tinggi mencapai 39,5 derajat Celsius dan dilaporkan orang tuanya telah mengalami kejang. Nah, anak itu berbeda dengan anak di atas, saat ditanya "badannya panas ya?", dia pun mengangguk, "pasang infusan ya, sakit sedikit..", dia juga mengangguk, dan benar, anak ini adalah anak2 pertama yang saya lihat dipasang infusan tidak nangis atau berontak..

Guns N' Roses to release song on 'Rock Band 2'

We've heard about songs getting released on iLike, Imeem, MySpace, and a whole lot else. But Rock Band?

That's on the way, according to Microsoft's press conference at the E3 Expo. The New York Times reported that that it could be on the way as rumors swirled that Rock Band 2, the second iteration of the music video game from MTV, would include a track called "Shacklers' Revenge" from legendary hard-rock group Guns N' Roses.

Now it's been confirmed. The long-delayed new Guns N' Roses album, Chinese Democracy, is on the way too, and the band has chosen the game, which hits stores this fall, as the venue to release its new single.

The Times points out that games like Rock Band, and Activision Blizzard's rival Guitar Hero, have been a bright spot in an otherwise dismal atmosphere for the music business. They're more profitable for record labels than digital downloads from places like iTunes, because a Rock Band track typically costs more. Sometimes they sell more copies, too. Motley Crue's "Saints of Los Angeles" sold more than three times as many tracks on Microsoft's Xbox Live Marketplace as a Rock Band song than it did in Apple's iTunes Store.

They're also a way for "old" bands to reach younger audiences, the Times noted. An executive for Anthem Records, which releases music for '70s prog-rock group Rush, said young people have started showing up for the band's concerts after hearing their music for the first time on Guitar Hero or Rock Band.

Angkot Bingung?

Saya bingung dengan kelakuan para supir angkot sekarang,

mobil mereka sudah dipenuhi penumpang dan hanya kosong 1 atau 2 tempat, tapi kenapa mereka masih suka banget yang namanya "ngetem" ya?

Yang saya bingung juga, ada sebagian supir angkot yang mau mobil terisi 1 atau 2 orang, mobil terus jalan, mungkin "ngetem" sekali dua kali, dan kadang mereka meneriaki para supir angkot yang suka ngetem, "mau nunggu sampe berapa si baru jalaaannn????"

Babies

Having a baby is the most wonderful experience of a mother. She will get the most happiness in her life the day she have her baby. Babies also the gifts from God to the mothers that the mothers must protect and care well.

Usually, a first born child is the most loved child in the family. Especially if the child is the first grandchild of both family. The child will always feel happy in his or life.

To care a baby is a difficult thing. One must be prepared for it. The man and women who will become parent for the first time, usually will get everything well planned. They will take care the baby needs eventhough they are still don't know the baby gender! They will buy strollers, nursery needs, clothes, etc.

I haven't become a father, but someday i will, and i will make sure that my children get what they're need.

I was watching MTV and I saw a rap video clip sang by a duo called them self Kriss Kross.

I saw that they are boy teenagers but already using piercings.

The video clip somehow looked old fashion.

I google it.

And I found out that the video clip was made in 1992. Hah!

Wash Your Hands After Handling the Patients

There something tickle me today, the orthopaedic doctor always wash his hands after handling the patient. Each of his patient.

It is a legeartis way (the correct way) to wash your hands after handling each patient.

But the way the doctor wash his hands every 5 minutes kind of make me think that the patient he touch was a bacteria.

Otak Makanan

Tadi siang saya mengikuti operasi orthopaedi, yaitu fraktur humerus tertutup. Kalau di IGD, yang biasanya datang adalah fraktur terbuka, jadi bentuk lukanya ga cantik.

Tapi kalau di kamar operasi, luka yang dibuat sangat cantik. Rapi. Saya bahkan sempat mikir, lemak di bagian bahu itu seperti bagian sate yang biasanya ditaruh di tengah. Kenyal2.



Sedangkan ototnya seperti daging rendang yang berserat2..
