P : Pernah, sering koq denger suara ibu sama kakak ngomong sama A.

P : Enggak, tapi A itu keturunan Nabi Muhammad ke-31.
D : Siapa yang bilang emang?
P : Dulu pas di rumah pernah denger radio tetangga yang bilang kayak gitu.
D : A bisa bicara sama hewan ga?
P : Bisa, sama kucing.
D : Emang kucingnya ngomong apa?
P : Kucingnya pada suka cerita kalo sering berantem sama anjing. A kasihan
jadinya.

You are What You Eat



This phrase has come to us via quite a tortuous route. Anthelme Brillat-Savarin wrote, in Physiologie du Gout, ou Meditations de Gastronomie Transcendante, 1826:

"Dis-moi ce que tu manges, je te dirai ce que tu es." [Tell me what you eat and I will tell you what you are].

Brillat-Savarin meant their quotations to be taken literally. They were stating that that the food one eats has a bearing on what one's state of mind and health.

The key to a healthy balanced diet is not to ban or omit any foods or food groups but to balance what you eat by consuming a variety of foods from each food group in the right proportions for good health. Read these tips :

1. Avoid Sugar

-found in cakes, biscuits, confectionary, chocolate, candy, desserts, soft drinks and many other foods.

2. Use whole grains rather than refined carbohydrates

- white bread, white flour, white pastry, white pasta and white rice should be replaced with brown rice, quinoa, millet, oats, barley, rye, buckwheat and red rice.

3. Avoid artificial additives

- these may be sweeteners, preservatives, colorings or flavorings.

4. Avoid stimulants

- caffeine, alcohol, nicotine and other recreational drugs.

5. Eat vegetables or salads with lunch and dinner

- Variety is important, so experiment with those that you don't normally eat.

6. Include some sources of essential fats every day

- these include oily fish (such as salmon, mackerel, sardines, herrings and trout), pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, linseeds/flaxseeds, hemp seeds, walnuts and avacadoes. Avoid processed fats such as low fat spreads and margarines.

7. Have at least 2 vegetarian days each week

- good vegetarian proteins include chickpeas, lentils, mung beans, borilotti beans, butter beans, aduki beans, tofu, tempeh, quinoa, amaranth, nuts and seeds.

8. Avoid processed meats

- ham, salami, chorizo, hot dogs, bacon and any smoked or cured meats. These all contain nitrates that have been linked to stomach cancer and are high in saturated fats and salt which are linked to stomach disease.

9. Cook from scratch whenever possible

- this means buying whole, natural ingredient and cooking or preparing them yourself. Avoid processed and packaged foods as much as possible.

10. Buy locally grown, organically produced, seasonal produce where possible

- check out farmer's markets, farm shops and pick-your-own farms for the freshest produce.

Football in Indonesia



Indonesia is a big country with lots of people. It is the 4th country with the list of country with the most most citizens. Like all of other countries, the main sport attraction is football. Yeah , it is true (if you don’t believe me). You can find at almost every corner in the street, there are kids or people playing football. Me, as a kid, also like to play football in the school yard. In my opinion, the kid who has a great skill in football will not become a professional football player in Indonesia. I always thought that they will choose other profession because in my opinion the payment for a football player in Indonesia is not that good. But still, maybe I was wrong, a football player in Indonesia can be payed one million rupiahs for a year. That number is not bad after all.

In Indonesia, we can see almost every major football league in the world in local television. The best part is you can watch it freely, without paying extra charge! We can watch English Premier League, FA Cup, Carling Cup, Serie A Italia, Bundesliga, Spanish League, Japanese league, and our local league in the TV. The TV also broadcasts Champion League, Europa League, Football match in SEA Games, Asian Games, Asian Cup, European Cup, African Cup, and the most important competition is World Cup.

As we know, the 2010 world cup will be held in South Africa. I have heard which local channel will broadcast the World Cup 2010. The winner for the bet is RCTI and Global TV. Both TV will broadcast every single match in the World Cup 2010.

What about the host cities in World Cup 2010? I believe that the committee will pick the best cities to host the match. Too bad, once again we can’t watch our national team play in the World Cup. Well, we might put some hope for World Cup 2014. Yes, we can!

Be Prepare

Traveling is an interesting thing to do. One thing you must do is you must be prepare. Make sure that you have everything, including pepper spray. Yes, something that little thing is important. It will help you fight the bad guys who want to do something bad for you. So, you must be aware of it.

In traveling there are also a few things you must prepared, such as vehicle first aid kits and roadside emergency kit. A roadside emergency can happen at any time, whether your car is new or old. A range of problems can cause it, from a tire failure or mechanical breakdown to running out of fuel. At best, it's an annoyance; at worst, it can compromise your safety. Being prepared with a basic emergency kit can increase your safety, reduce stress, and help you get back on the road faster. So, you have to prepare the roadside emergency kit.

A couple of years ago, I was in an incident where I needed Pepper Spray. Unfortunately, I never tried the product first, so I was hoping that it would work properly and I would be able to spray the perpetrator right in the face. It did work, which I was very thankful for, because as we all know, with any product there can be faults, so you should always test the product before you use it!
