Let's Go to the Gym

Fitness is an interesting stuff. It can be a hobby and it also can be an exercise for you to do. I believe most of you don't have time to work out. You always put your work first, family in the second place, and work out in behind of all of those things. So in conclude, you don't have time to work out.

Who doesn't busy? Everybody have their own busiest time. The different thing is that some people can manage to have time for work out. They can go to the gym they want. If you ask me, then I suggest for you to have yoga fitness classes. It is so easy to join the classes. All you need is time. Yoga classes are attended for people who want to do a relaxing exercise. They want to do some thing which isn't for muscle, but still healthy. So they choose it.

Fitness gym is a thing that I love the most. I like to train my self 4-5 times a week in my own private gym. If you don't have one, you can try to apply membership to the gym. You also can apply for corporate gym memberships. The corporate membership sometimes is cheaper than ordinary membership.

In the last paragraph, I will tell you that our body, despite of our mind, also need exercise. You can do a little stretching out before you start your day. It is better to do a little work out than never. If you have free time, please join a gym. In the gym you can choose a variety of classes which you can attended.

Vitamin A, Let's Take A Look

itamin A is a generic term for a large number of related compounds. Retinol (an alcohol) and retinal (an aldehyde) are often referred to as preformed vitamin A. Retinal can be converted by the body to retinoic acid, the form of vitamin A known to affect gene transcription. Retinol, retinal, retinoic acid, and related compounds are known as retinoids.

Beta-carotene and other carotenoids that can be converted by the body into retinol are referred to as provitamin A carotenoids. Hundreds of different carotenoids are synthesized by plants, but only about 10% of them are provitamin A carotenoids. The following discussion will focus mainly on preformed vitamin A and retinoic acid.

Vitamin A function:

• Vitamin A is needed for new cell growth, healthy skin, hair, and tissues, and vision in dim light.

Vitamin A sources:

• Vitamin A is found in dark green and yellow vegetables and yellow fruits, such as broccoli spinach, turnip greens, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cantaloupe, and apricots, and in animal sources such as liver, milk, butter, cheese, and whole eggs.

Stretching

In my opinion, stretching is an important things. In the daily practice we can see that a lot of people suffer from myalgia or "hard muscle". The best way is to train your muscle every day. Just by doing simple exercises, you can make your body free from any drugs given by the doctors.

Stretching is important during your warm-up, before you run, because it increases blood flow to the muscles. But stretching during your cool-down may be even more important. "After running, stretching helps to remove lactic acid from the muscle, which in turn reduces muscle soreness," says Pitchford. "That promotes better flexibility." Stretching afterwards also will help you relax.

Stretches for side of neck:

1. Sit or stand with arms hanging loosely at sides
2. Turn head to one side, then the other
3. Hold for 5 seconds, each side
4. Repeat 1 to 3 times

Stretches shoulder, middle back, arms, hands, fingers, wrist

1. Interlace fingers and turn palms out
2. Extend arms in front at shoulder height
3. Hold 10 to 20 seconds, relax, and repeat


Stretches ankles

1. Stand and hold onto something for balance
2. Lift right foot and rotate foot and ankle 8 to 10 times clockwise, then 8 to 10 times counterclockwise.
3. Repeat on other side
(Note: can also be done sitting)


There are many kinds ot other stretching exercises for you to do, just make sure you know the purposes of the stretching.

Stop Smoking? Why Not?

Are you aware of the dangers of smoking? As a result of smoking to health body really hurt. According to statistics, around the world, the number of smokers who die from diseases caused by smoking amount to almost three times the number of people who died because of alcohol and drugs. Even the number of smokers who die from the disease six times more than in a car accident. In addition, the age of smokers is usually 13 to 14 years shorter than people who do not smoke.

After reading these facts, whether you will be like a smoker who although have read so many horrible facts in relation to smoking and then decided to stop reading it? Or you dare to say no to cigarettes?

2010

2010...

Hm..

Tahun yang amat penting..

Mengapa penting? Karena di tahun ini akan banyak perubahan yang terjadi buat saya..

InsyaAllah pertengahan tahun ini saya akan disumpahin menjadi dokter, terus sibuk2 belajar buat Ujian Kompetensi Dokter Indonesia, semoga langsung lulus, trus ikut2 ATLS, ACLS, seminar2 dll yang intinya buat menambah poin untuk melanjutkan pendidikan spesialisasi..

Untuk spesialisasi, sebenarnya saya masih bingung mau milih apa, apakah sesuai dengan yang saya mau jiwa dan raga, atau yang agak lumayan mau namun jalannya lebih mudah.. (tahulah, pendidikan spesialisasi di universitas negeri di Jakarta itu penuh dengan trik2 buat masuknya, c/o : uang, titipannya profesor siapa gitu, lulusan mana, dll.. tapi otak juga ngaruh, mungkin urutan ke berapa gitu..)

Nikah? Pengennya cepet2, saya pernah berencana abis lulus langsung nikah trus PTT bareng si adek.. Tapi dari pada PTT saya lebih pengen sekolah lagi, biar cepet selesai.. Jadi untuk kapan saya menikahnya, didoakan saja, saya juga males lama2 pacaran, bosen, pengennya ketemu tiap hari, hehe.. Saya merasa akan lebih mudah berkonsentrasi menjalani spesialisasi jika sudah menikah dengan adek yang punya cita2 tinggi juga jadi spesialis yang dia mau..

Tapi tentu saja yang namanya menikah bukan cuma modal cinta,, emang mau ngasih makan cinta?? :-D
