Healthy Pick at Pizza Hut

Who doesn't love pizza hut? That restaurants are located scattered over the world. People need pizza, right?

If you go to Pizza Hut, make sure you pick the right choice. Pick the healthiest one, so that you can put pizza in your diet plan.

First you have to look for low calorie hints on the menu like "fit," "thin" or "lite." These are all on certain areas of the menu that offer lower calorie options, such as their Fit-n-Delicious Pizzas which range from 150 to 170 calories per slice.

Request half the cheese on your pizza to cut down the calories without losing a lot of the flavor. Avoid the meat-heavy pizzas as they are loaded with calories and fat. Hitting the top of the list is the Large Pan Crust Meat Lovers Pizza at 530 calories/31 g. fat per slice.

Try substituting items to create something just for you. For example, get the Thin n-Crispy crust with no sauce, light cheese and lots of veggies for a low-calorie solution.

Pick a Healthy Lunch?

For majority of the people, lunch is a relieve. In lunch they can eat more than usual compare to breakfast or dinner. Some people even eat lunch twice as their breakfast. This is not a good thing. Keep your meal balanced in quantity and quality.

On days when you buy a sandwich, go to a place that'll make one to order. Ask for turkey or roast beef, extra tomatoes and onions, and only a smidge of mayonnaise. Better yet, opt for mustard. Don't get tuna if it's mixed with lots of mayo. By skipping that eggy, oily spread, you'll cut back the fat and cholesterol significantly.

If the only planning your lunch involves is where you'll get your sarnie from, you're missing a trick. Ready-made food can be high in calories and fat, making it harder to eat healthily and keep those pounds off. You have to find out how to transform your midday meal and make good choices when you're short of time.

Checking your tooth also important, that is why you have to go to the dentist once in six-months.

An Apple a Day Really Keeps the Doctor Away?

Ever heard the quote "An apple a day keeps the doctor away?"? Is that really true?

Do you really know what makes an apple so special? Why is it that we never hear an orange or a banana a day keeps the doctor away?

Well, apple has nutrients like no other fruits do. This fact is proven time over time. Let's take a look.

Apple contains Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps greatly your immune system. A lot of people who lack Vitamin C in their diet have poor healing, bruise easily and have bleeding gums.

Low in calories. A regular size apple has between 70-100 calories. Eating an apple when craving for candy or chocolate can make the desire disappear since apple in itself contains sugar, but gives you only ? of the calories.

Apples taste great and provide essential vitamins, minerals and fiber that may help to protect from chronic diseases. The Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005 recommends that we eat more fruits and veggies than any other food group — for adults, that's 3½ to 6½ cups (7 to 13 servings) daily for better health.
