Based on my post "Growing Up with Music", i liked to post about the status of a few 80's rock band, whether they are already dismissed, still making albums or hybernated..

1. Iron Maiden (UK)
- 1975-present
- They just finished their tour for the 2006 album

2. Def Leppard (UK)
- 1977 - present
- Will launch their new album in March '08

3. Van Halen
- 1972 - present
- Made their tour in 2007 with Eddie Van Halen's son in bass + David Lee Roth

4. U2
- 1976 - present
- Doesn't hear about the new album

5. Metallica
- 1981 - present
- Will Launch they new album in February '08

6. Megadeth
- 1983-2002, 2002-2004
- Launched their album in 2007

7. Kiss
- 1973 - present
- will tour Europe and Scandinavia in May and June '08

8. Motley Crue
- 1980 - present
- In new album progress, Tommy Lee quit the band in 2007

9. Faster Pussycat
- 1983 - 1993, 2001 - present
- join a concert in 2007

10. Guns n' Roses
- 1985 - present
- the new album once again had no scheduled release date since March '08
