Slim with Discipline Diet

A growing number of physicians say that very low-calorie diets, when medically supervised, can be valuable in treating seriously obese people who have failed on more conservative diets.

But in interviews this week these doctors emphasized that the extreme programs are not suitable for many dieters who need to lose no more than 25 or 30 pounds, or those who are unwilling to revamp their eating and exercise habits permanently.

What is the main reason that people fail to stick to special diets? It may seem ridiculous but it is the special diet itself, and, it doesn't much matter which one it is. Special diets almost always demand some type of denial which demands self-discipline. If the person had self-discipline, they wouldn't have need of a special diet to begin with.

One thing that you should consider when choosing foods is the amount of nutrient inside the foods. You want to choose foods that will give the necessary amount of nutrients that your body needs. As for snacks time, you are advised to consume Slim Fast snack bars and two fruits. It is also recommended that you drink at 6 to 8 cups water a day.

You can expect to lose anywhere between one to two pounds every week depending on your body condition, discipline and exercise. To make this diet program works, you need to strictly follow the plan and you have to give it a time to work. Generally, you can see the result between your first 2 to 4 weeks.
