Dumbell shrugs is one of many effective exercise to build your deltoid muscle. It also effective for trapezius, supraspinatus and infraspinatus. These muscle are responsible for movement of the shoulder and can be targeted for strengthening in several different ways.
It is how to do it :
PreparationStand holding dumbbells to sides.
ExecutionElevate shoulders as high as possible. Lower and repeat.
Note : Make the move by using your trapezius muscle only. Remember to put your chin close to your chest when you execute.
