I am not saying that the country is perfect nor a terrorist country. Yes, in every religion, there are bad people and good people. So, let's not make some adjust to moslem.

Spain is the World Cup 2010 Champion

As predicted earlier by Paul the Octopus, Spain has become the champion of World Cup 2010. Spain won by the late goal in the second extra-time, scored by A. Iniesta. The Dutch team thought that he was in off-side position. But the replay showed that he was in on-side position. So, congrats to Spain and to all the football fans.

No More Heroes!

It is a really sad news for Heroes fans, like me. NBC finally decided to cancel the show. It's a sad reality. Well, maybe there will be other great shows again?! But still, maybe it is best to end Heroes at the 3rd season?

News :

NBC has officially announced that their popular Monday night series, Heroes, will not be returning. Heroes wrapped its fourth season last Fall, and the anticipation for a return was building, but shadowed by the fact that most viewers thought the show would end up being cancelled.

In the final episode of season four, one of the main characters, Clair Bennet jumps off the top a Ferris Wheel, exposing herself and her kind to the rest of the world. This left the series in a cliff hanger - which was very typical of the show.

After security concerns forced United to cancel the Indonesian leg of the pre-season tour, Reds chief executive David Gill hinted the scheduled match in Jakarta could be relocated to Kuala Lumpur.

United were due to play an Indonesian Super League XI on Monday 20 July at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium but bombings in Jakarta on Friday morning prompted the club to cancel its trip to the country.

Speaking at a press conference at the team hotel in Malaysia, Gill said: “There are various things we’re looking at. We could bring the Indonesian team here. It’s a possibility and something we’re looking at. We’ll go through all the different possibilities and evaluate which is the most appropriate.

“In all probability [the United tour party] will stay here [in Kuala Lumpur]. But there are lots of things to be done before we sort out the logistics for the rest of the week.”

Fans should note that no firm plans have been made at this stage. An announcement regarding United's revised Asia Tour schedule will be made at a later date.

Yak, sesuai prediksi, SBY-Boediono memimpin peroleh suara di KPU Center. Mungkin yang jadi kejutan adalah peringkat 2 dan 3. Dalam polling2 sebelumnya, JK-WIN selalu menempati peringkat ke-2 disusul Mega-Pro.

Dalam kenyataannya, terbalik. Peringkat-2 diduduki oleh Mega-Pro dan 3 diduduki oleh JK-Win. Walaupun hasil pemilu masih belum dapat dipastikan, kecil rasanya kans para peringkat 2 dan 3 itu untuk naik menjadi no.1.

Yang pasti, kubu Mega-Pro pasti mengajukan tuntutan pemilu curang lah, ini lah, itu lah... Maklum, hasrat memimpin yang sudah tak tertahan..

Why did I write two different world, soccer and football? Yes, because it is the same. US Soccer team made a surprised when they beat Spain in the Confederation Club in Egypt. They beat Spin two goals to none.

Well, you can say that they were lucky. Remember when they got beat by Italy 3-0? Although in the end Italy was beat by Brazil, I still think that Italy should be the champ.

After all too often curling up into a ball and pleading for mercy against world powers, Bob Bradley’s team threw off its shackles on Wednesday night to deliver one of the greatest results in U.S. soccer history.

Written off going into the Confederations Cup and ridiculed after blowout losses in their first two games, somehow Bradley’s players found the will and the way to defeat Spain 2-0 on Wednesday and clinch a place in Sunday’s championship game of South Africa’s 2010 World Cup warmup event.

Somewhere in that wondrous and diverse land, this collection of players from clubs all around Europe and North America found a common understanding. Out of the ashes of a 3-0 defeat to Brazil that resembled champions against children came the most improbable of revivals. Last Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Egypt sparked some confidence, but even that improved performance gave little indication of what was to come.

Virtually the same group of players was dreadful against Brazil and outclassed by Italy. The tactics were not drastically different, either. But the mindset was a world apart. From the outset, the U.S. proved to Spain that it would not be bowed, even against a team ranked the best on the planet. The Americans attacked hard and early and set some seeds of doubt into the minds of an opponent that could have been forgiven for expecting an easy ride.

Oemar Dhani

Yak... Jadi.. Saat ini saya bertugas di ilmu penyakit dalam RS Angkatan Udara (RUSPAU) Esnawan Antariksa, Halim. Kemarin, saya mengikuti konsulen penyakit dalam di RUSPAU visit ke bangsal2. Ketika sampai di Intensive Care Unit, saya baru tahu kalau di situ dirawat Bpk Oemar Dhani, dan konsulen saya tersebut yang merawatnya.

Sebenarnya saya saat itu belum mengetahui secara jelas, siapakah beliau ini, tapi memang nampaknya orang penting. Hari ini ketika mengikuti visit konsulen saya tersebut, semakin jelas kalau beliau orang penting karena beliau sudah pindah ke kamar perawatan biasa tp VVIP dengan penjagaan PM.

Jadi.. ternyata beliau adalah seorang purnawirawan Marsekal (Jendral Bintang 4) Angkatan Udara yang diduga terlibat kasus PKI sehingga di penjara selama 40 tahun (bener ga ya?). Katanya sih, G30S PKI 1965/66 ga seseram dan sepedih yang ditulis di buku sejarah, termasuk yang dulu saya pelajari saat sekolah. Tapi semakin ke sini, semakin terlihat kalau, peristiwa G30S PKI merupakan suatu peristiwa bersejarah dengan "bumbu" yang cukup banyak. Yang pasti, Soeharto memang mempunyai peran dalam hal itu.

Dulu, TNI AU begitu berjaya dibanding TNI AD, sekarang? Karena peristiwa G30S PKI, TNI AU tidak ada giginya. Kalah jauh dibandingkan TNI AD.

Peristiwa G 30 S / PKI versi Dr. Soebandrio batal
beredar, penulis Memoar tokoh penting Era Orde Lama
itu adalah wartawan senior Jawa Pos Djono W. Oesman.
Bagaimana sebenarnya isu buku yang peredarannya
dibatalkan,
kendati sudah dicetak 10 ribu eksemplar oleh Gramedia
itu ?

HARI ini, 39 tahun silam, meletus G 30 S yang tak
habis-habisnya dibicarakan. Lebih dari 110 buku
berbahasa Inggris dan 35 buku berbahasa Indonesia
mengupas hal tersebut. Yang terbaru, Presiden Megawati
meminta agar Mendiknas membuat buku tentang hal itu
dan menunjuk sejarawan Taufik Abdullah memimpin tim
penulis.


Salah satu diantara ratusan buku G 30 S tersebut
adalah memoar Dr Soebandrio. Soebandrio( almarhum )
merupakan orang yang sangat penting dalam sejarah G 30
S . Saat itu, dia merangkap tiga jabatan, Yakni, wakil
perdana mentri I, mentri luar negeri, dan kepala Badan
Pusat Intelijen (kini BIN).


Tapi, tentu saja isi buku itu sangat subjektif. Sebab,
semuanya murni versi Soebandrio. Dia menuturkan semua
cerita tersebut antara Oktober 1999 hingga September
2000 selepas dibebaskan dari penjara.
Berikut cuplikan memoar yang terfokus pada kejadian 30
September dan 1 Oktober 1965 yang dituturkan
Soebandrio dengan gaya saya (Soebandrio):
Kamis Kliwon, 30 September (persis dengan hari ini)
1965, setelah menyelesaikan tugas-tugasnya di Istana.
Negara, Presiden Soekarno pulang ke Wisma Yaso ( kini
Musium Satria Mandala ). Di sana, beliau bersama istri
Ratna Sari Dewi.

Sehari sebelumnya, Panglima AU Oemar Dhani melapor
kepada Presiden Soekarno tentang banyaknya pasukan
dari daerah yang masuk ke Jakarta. Beberapa hari
sebelumnya, saya melaporkan adanya kelompok perwira AD
yang tidak puas terhadap presiden. Mereka membentuk
Dewan Jendral yang kabarnya akan melakukan kudeta.
Bung Karno tahu, ada yang tidak beres pada elite
pimpinan AD. Buktinya, beberapa hari sebelumnya,
beliau memerintahkan Menpangad Letjen A.Yani menghadap
presiden. Jadwal pertemuanya 1 Oktober 1965, pukul
08.00 WIB, di istana. Topik pembicaraanya; Isu Dewan
Jendral. Rencana itu batal karena Yani dibunuh sekitar
lima jam sebelumnya.

Sementara itu, Pangkostrad Mayjen Soeharto sejak kamis
siang menunggu anaknya, Hutomo Mandala Putera (Tommy
Soeharto) di RSPAD Gatot Subroto. Tommy saat itu
berusia tiga tahun dirawat di sana karena ketumpahan
sup panas.

Menjelang malam, Kolonel Abdul Latief ( Komandan
brigade Infanteri Jaya Sakti, Kodam Jaya) menemui
Soeharto di RSPAD Gatot Subroto.
Berdasarkan cerita Kolonel Untung ( pengawal presiden
Soekarno dari Cakra Bhirawa ) kepada saya ketika kami
bersama-sama dipenjara di Cimahi, Bandung, seharusnya
malam itu ada tiga perwira yang menemui
Soeharto.Yakni, Latief, Untung, dan Brigjen Soepardjo
(Pangkopur II Kostrad).

Sebelum bertemu Soeharto, mereka rapat disuatu tempat.
Akhirnya diputuskan, Latief yang menghadap Soeharto
untuk melaporkan bahwa pasukan penangkap Dewan Jendral
sudah siap bergerak.

Latief lantas kembali menemui Untung dan Soeparjo yang
menunggu di suatu tempat. Latief melapor kepada dua
rekannya bahwa Soeharto berada di belakang mereka.
Tentang dukungan Soeharto menangkap anggota Dewan
Jendral itu diperjelas oleh cerita Untung kepada saya
selama dipenjara. Katanya, pada 15 September 1965, dia
mendatangi Soeharto.

Meski tidak berada di satu garis komando, Untung dan
Soeharto adalah sahabat lama saat mereka sama-sama di
Divisi Diponegoro, Jateng. Jadi, itu pertemuan antar
sahabat lama. Tapi, membicarakan masalah yang sangat
penting.

Di pertemuan itu, Untung melaporkan adanya isu Dewan
Jendral yang akan melakukan kudeta. Untung lantas
menyampaikan gagasan, akan mendahului gerakan Dewan
Jendral dengan menangkap mereka lebih dahulu sebelum
mereka bergerak.

Ternyata Soeharto mendukung, bahkan siap membantu
mendatangkan pasukan. Karena itu, Untung meski
divonis hukuman mati tenang-tenang saja. Dia
mengatakan kepada saya, Pengadilan ini hanya
sandiwara, Ban. Wong rencana saya didukung Pak Harto,
katanya. Toh, akhirnya dia dieksekusi juga.

Menjelang dini hari 1 Oktober 1965, Soeharto pulang
dari RSPAD Gatot Subroto menuju ke Makostrad. Saat
itu, sejumlah pasukan yang siap menangkap tujuh
jendral sedang berkumpul di dekat Monas.
Beberapa jam kemudian (1Oktober 1965). Tujuh Jendral
itu benar-benar ditangkap dan dihabisi. Sebagian
ditembak dirumah saat penangkapan, sebagian dibunuh di
Lubang Buaya, Pondok Gede.

Apa yang terjadi kemudian? Bagaimana Presiden
Soekarno, DN Aidit, dan Oemar Dhani bisa berada di
Halim (dekat Pondok Gede) pada pagi buta 1 Oktober
1965 ?

Soebandrio memang controversial, baik sejak berjayanya
dijaman Bung karno maupun setelah dipenjara Orde
Baru. Dalam pengakuaanya kepada Djono W. Oesman,
wartawan Koran ini, kontroversi itu juga bertaburan.
Berikut lanjutan penuturan Soebandrio.
PERTANYAAN penting dalam sejarah G 30 S adalah :
mengapa di pagi buta 1 Oktober 1965 saat tujuh Jendral
dibantai di Lubang Buaya, beberapa tokoh nasional
berada di Halim ( dekat Lubang buaya?)

Berikut cuplikan memoar Dr.Soebandrio ( wafat 3 Juli
2004 ) yang ditulis antara Oktober 1999- September
2000 itu.
Kawasan Halim pada dini hari itu seperti menjadi
sentra berkumpulnya tokoh tokoh nasional sekaligus
tempat pembantaian para jendral.
Disana ada Presiden Soekarno, Menko / Ketua MPRS
D.N.Aidit dan Menpangau Oemar Dhani. Mereka tidak
berkumpul di satu tempat, juga tidak datang bersamaan,
bahkan mereka datang kesana tanpa koordinasi.
Bung Karno menjelang dini hari itu mendapat telepon,
bahwa baru saja terjadi penculikan beberapa jendral.
Malam itu beliau tidur dirumah Wisma Yaso bersama
istri Dewi Soekarno.Begitu mendapatkan telepon, dia
langsung berangkat dengan dikawal ajudan Parto yang
sekaligus menjadi sopir.

Dari Wisma Yaso mobil meluncur keutara menuju
istana.Tetapi menjelang tiba diistana, tampak ada
blokade jalan. Sejumlah pasukan bersenjata siaga
dilokasi blokade.
Ajudan Parto kaget.Tidak ada pemberitahuan kepada
ajudan presiden bahwa ada blokade di sekitar istana.
Menurut Suparto itu pasukan tak dikenal.
Parto lantas mengambil inisiatif memutar haluan, mobil
berbalik arah.Sebelum Bung Karno bertanya tanya, Parto
mengatakan, sebaiknya kita ke Halim saja pak. Kalau
ada apa apa dari Halim akan dengan cepat terbang
ketempat lain.

Bung Karno menurut saja.Dalam protokoler pengamanan
presiden, jika pengawal merasa bahwa presiden dalam
bahaya, pengawal harus secepatnya membawa presiden ke
bandara.Dengan inisiatif Parto memutar haluan, berarti
dia mengganggap presiden dalam bahaya.
Setelah Bung Karno tiba di Halim, baru ajudan
menjelaskan kondisi bahaya itu.Disana Bung Karno
lantas ditemani Oemar Dhani selalu Menpangau yang
bertanggung jawab terhadap keamanan bandara.
Beberapa saat kemudian Brigjen Soepardjo ( Pangkopur
II Kostrad ) yang tadi malam bersama Kolonel Abdul
Latief dan Letkol Untung melapor ke Soeharto di RSPAD
Gatot Soebroto tentang persiapan pasukan penjemput
para jendral, melapor ke Bung Karno. Soepardjo
melaporkan, tujuh jemdral telah diculik.

D.N.Aidit dini hari itu juga berada di Halim. Ini
sungguh aneh.Aidit saat itu berada di sebuah rumah
disekitar Halim.Dia tidak berada disatu tempat dengan
Bung Karno dan Oemar Dhani.

Beberapa hari kemudian saya didatangi istri Aidit. Dia
berceritera bahwa pada Kamis 30 September 1965 malam,
rumahnya didatangi beberapa tentara berseragam
lengkap, � suami saya diculik � katanya.
Dengan keberadaan Aidit di Halim pada dini hari dan
cerita istrinya, bahwa dia dijemput tentara pada
malamnya, biisa disimpulkan, bahwa malam itu Aidit
dibawa tentara menuju Halim.


Pagi itu, dari Pangkalan Halim Presiden Soekarno
mengeluarkan instruksi yang disampaikan melalui
radiogram ke Markas Besar ABRI. Isi instruksi
tersebut: � semua pasukan harap stand by di posisinya
masing2.Semua pasukan hanya boleh bergerak atas
perintah saya selaku presiden dan panglima tertinggi
ABRI.Semua persoalan akan diselesaikan
pemerintah/presiden.Hindari pertumpahan darah.
Saat itu Bung Karno hanya mendapatkan informasi, bahwa
7 jendral tersebut dibunuh.
Instruksi itu lantas disambut Soeharto dengan perintah
agar Letkol Untung dan kawan kawan ditangkap
secepatnya.

Jelas, hal itu membingungkan Untung.Dia sudah melapor
ke Soeharto soal Dewan Jendral yang akan melakukan kup
dan menyampaikan gagasan mendahului geraksan Dewan
Jendral dengan menangkap mereka. Semua itu didukung
Soeharto.Bahkan Soeharto memberikan bantuan pasukan
dari Kodam Siliwangi. Sekarang Soeharto malah
memerintahkan agar Untung ditangkap.
Hampir bersamaan dengan keluarnya instruksi Presiden
Soekarno, Soeharto memanggil salah satu ajudan Bung
Karno Bambang Widjanarko yang berada di Halim agar
segera menghadap dirinya di Makostrad.
Di Makostrad Bambang diberi tahu Soeharto agar
Presiden Soekarno dibawa pergi dari pangkalan Halim.
Sebab pasukan dari Kostrad dibawah pimpinan Sarwo Edhi
Wibowo sudah disiapkan untuk menyerbu Halim.
Saat pesan ini disampaikan Bambang kepada Bung Karno,
jelas Bung Karno geram sekaligus bingung.Instruksi
Bung Karno agar semua pasukan stand by di posisi
masing2 ternyata tidak ditaati Soeharto.Sebaliknya
Soeharto malah memerintahkan agar Soekarno menyingkir
dari Pangkalan Halim.

Bung Karno lantas meminta nasihat para pembantu
militernya. Brigjen Soepardjo mengusulkan agar Bung
Karno terbang ke Bali,.Menpangau Oemar Dhani
mengusulkan terbang ke Madiun, Jatim.
Wakil Perdana Menteri II Leimena yang pagi itu sudah
berada disana mengusulkan, langkah paling hati hati
adalah ke Istana Bogor lewat jalan darat.Sebab
jaraknya paling dekat dengan Jakarta dan naik pesawat
sangat berbahaya terhadap kemungkinan tembakan.
Dari berbagai usul itu Bung Karno menganggap bahwa
dirinya memang sedang dalam bahaya.Akhirnya dia
memutuskan menuju Istana Bogor lewat darat.
Rangkaian peristiwa tersebut bergerak sangat cepat dan
detik ke detik, dari menit kemenit.Sulit dibayangkan,
bagaimana mungkin posisi presiden bisa begitu terdesak
hanya dalam beberapa jam akibat penculikan para
jendral yang bagi presiden Soekarno saat itu belum
jelas dilakukan oleh siapa.

Beberapa saat setelah Bung Karno meninggalkan Halim,
pasukan dibawah pimpinan Sarwo Dhie Wibowo memang
bergerak ke Halim menyerbu pasukan penangkap dan
pembunuh para jenderal ( djono w. oesman )

American leaders have good reason to worry about the price

of oil. Oil price shocks can play a decisive role in ending

a presidency, as in the cases of Presidents Jimmy Carter and

George H. W. Bush. The Nov. 2 election may well hinge on the

cooling of the economic recovery caused by sustained high

levels of oil prices. But that's not really what the next

president should be so concerned about. The real oil shocks

- much more damaging and sustained than ever before - will

come a bit later, but much sooner than anyone had expected,

from a part of the world not even discussed seriously in the

current campaign: China.



With 1.3 billion people, a phenomenal rate of economic growth,

and an insatiable consumer demand for cars, China will soon

come into direct conflict with the United States over oil,

the world's most valuable and increasingly scarce industrial

commodity.



The pressure on supply will inevitably jack up prices to levels

that would make today's motorists and electricity customers

blanch.



The conflict is unavoidable. It could create geopolitical

tensions and cause dramatic shifts in U.S. foreign policy

that may overshadow today's preoccupation with global terrorism.

And there are no easy solutions to avert it, only regrets over

this nation's missed opportunities in decades past to develop

viable alternative energy sources to lessen U.S. dependence on

imported oil.



Any such program, initiated today, will take far too long to

bear fruit in time to avoid an economic and political clash with

China over oil.



Just a quick glimpse at the figures involved makes clear the

dimensions of the problem. China's economic growth has bubbled

along at a steamy pace of 8 to 10 percent a year for the past

decade.



With that growth, private auto sales in that vast nation have

skyrocketed from token levels 10 years ago - only 220,000 were

sold as recently as 1999 - to nearly 2 million this year. Last

year alone, China's automobile sales increased by a staggering

69 percent.

Asik, fakta ini telah dirilis. Jadi bisa buat bahan pertimbangan ni siapa capres yang punya duit paling banyak dan paling sedikit.


Calon Presiden dan Calon Wakil Presiden peserta Pilpres 2009 telah menyerahkan Daftar Laporan Harta Kekayaan Penyelenggara Negara (LHKPN) kepada Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK). Namun KPK baru akan mengumumkan secara resmi kepada publik pada 25 Mei 2009. Berapa kekayaan mereka?

Berikut data kekayaan capres yang bersumber dari data LHKPN di KPK berdasarkan laporan sebelumnya.

1. Harta Kekayaan Calon Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono :

Harta tidak bergerak terdiri dari enam bidang tanah dan bangunan senilai Rp 2.98 miliar.

Harta Bergerak: Alat transportasi dan mesin lain sebesar Rp 509,5 juta, harta bergerak lain senilai Rp 151,6 juta.

Giro dan setara kas lain Rp 3,49 miliar (ditambah US$44.887) yang berasal dari hasil sendiri.

Total kekayaan SBY sebesar Rp 7,14 milyar dan US$44.887

2. Harta Kekayaan Calon Presiden Jusuf Kalla:

Harta tidak bergerak, terdiri dari tanah dan bangunan sebanyak 50 bidang di Makassar dan Kendari sebesar Rp 80,3 miliar.

3. Harta Kekayaan Calon Presiden Megawati Soekarnoputri:

Harta tidak bergerak berupa tanah dan bangunan sebesar Rp 36,51 miliar.

LONDON (Reuters) – A man who tried to hire a prostitute to take his 14-year-old son's virginity as a present was spared jail by a court on Friday.

The Polish national took the boy out in his car and allowed him to pick out the prostitute, who was standing at the side of the road in the red-light district of Nottingham.

But the 42-year-old father was arrested because the teenager had chosen an undercover police officer, Nottingham Crown Court heard.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was handed a 10-month prison sentence, suspended for a year, after he admitted a charge of trying to solicit a woman to have sex with a child, the Press Association reported.

The court heard that the father, who came to Britain eight years ago, was arrested last July during an undercover operation by the city's vice squad.

Prosecutor Adrian Harris said the man and his son had approached the undercover officer whose code name was Sarah and beckoned her over .

He asked "Sarah" how much it would cost for her to have sex with his son and they agreed on a 20 pound fee. However, when the car pulled over, the man was arrested by plainclothes police officers.

"The boy said that they had driven past the girl and his dad pointed to her and said 'will she do?'" Harris said.

"He said 'yes' and they had turned round. He said his dad did this because he was still a virgin and he was taking care of that for him."

Judge Jonathan Teare said he would spare the father jail because of his excellent character and that he believed he did not mean any harm to his son.

"You have a duty of care to your son and that is to look after his moral welfare, not as you might think to break him in to the ways of sex through a prostitute," he said.

The court was told the boy would continue to live with his father.
