Addicted to Supernatural

Yes, I am addicted to this series. This series is one of the best US TV series, I think. Actually my local tv channels don't broadcast the series. Yes, in my country, local soap opera is more interesting for local people. Nevertheless, I am different! I like to watch US TV series.

Anyway,

The Plot is :

This television drama is about two brothers, Sam and Dean, who were raised by their father, John, to hunt and kill all things that go "bump in the night" after his wife, Mary, was murdered by something supernaturally evil when the boys were young. 22 years later the brothers set out on a journey, fighting evil along the way, to find their recently missing father who, when they finally meet up with, reveals he knows what killed their mother, a demon, and has found a way to track and kill it. Meanwhile, Sam starts to develop frightening abilities that include death visions, visions of people dying before it actually happens. These visions are somehow connected to the demon who murdered his mother and it's mysterious plans that seem to be all about Sam. When their father dies striking a deal with the very same devil that had killed his wife, the brothers, now alone and without their mentor.

after the main plot, the story continues. To sum up, the series is about supernatural things, including heaven and hell.

Lee Dewyze, the Winner

Apparently, my prediction was wrong. Lee is the season 9 champion. It means Crystal will have a brighter carrier. Right? Anyway, congrats to him.

No More Heroes!

It is a really sad news for Heroes fans, like me. NBC finally decided to cancel the show. It's a sad reality. Well, maybe there will be other great shows again?! But still, maybe it is best to end Heroes at the 3rd season?

News :

NBC has officially announced that their popular Monday night series, Heroes, will not be returning. Heroes wrapped its fourth season last Fall, and the anticipation for a return was building, but shadowed by the fact that most viewers thought the show would end up being cancelled.

In the final episode of season four, one of the main characters, Clair Bennet jumps off the top a Ferris Wheel, exposing herself and her kind to the rest of the world. This left the series in a cliff hanger - which was very typical of the show.

Lee Dewyze on American Idol Season 9

I'm starting to think that he can win the show. Maybe the judges lost interest with Crystal's attitudes. This guy can be big. Maybe, just maybe.

Crystal Bowersox Planned to Quit on Idol?

Yup, but that is an old news. From the info I read on Yahoo, According to TMZ, the soulful dreadlocked rocker walked off the show and was ready to call it quits, when host Ryan Seacrest saved the day.

Crystal reportedly told Ryan, "What's the point?" and said she couldn't handle the competition. The singer said she was planning on leaving and returning to Ohio to be with her family.

Ryan reportedly consoled the singer telling her, "The greatest thing I ever did was make enough money so I could buy my mom a house. You can buy your mom a house."

Well, that pep talk seemed to work. And she's back again!

American Idol Top 11 : Miley Cyrus as the Mentor? WTF??

I laughed when I heard that. Actually, I couldn't watch the live show because of my unimportant night shift duty. Then I heard it on the news.

Seriously, does Miley Cyrus can even sing?? Why did the producer pick her as the mentor??

Heroes Season 4

Well, in the last episode of Season 3 I was saying to my self that I wouldn't watch the next season. The reason? I think that the story is going more too far than the original story since Nathan Petrelli was dead.

But I was wrong. I downloaded Heroes Season 4 via LimeWire Pro and watched it. The story is still interesting. So, can wait for the next episode I guess..

American Idol 2009 Winners

Yup, my prediction is right. I really think that Idol results are made by the creator of the TV show.

To be honest, Adam Lambert is the best, vocally. Last nite, he was much better than Kris. Adam in fact was the best during season 8. But then, there is rumor that he is gay.

I believe the producers don't want their show's winner is a gay. Then they are picking their winner to Kris. Readable action..

The news :

Kris Allen's smooth vocals and boy-next-door image propelled him to "American Idol" victory Wednesday, turning the theatrical powerhouse Adam Lambert into the most unlikely of also-rans.

"I'm sorry, I don't even know what to feel right now. This is crazy," said a stunned Allen, 23, of Conway, Ark.

As host Ryan Seacrest said in announcing the result of the viewer vote, "The underdog, the dark horse, comes back and wins the nation over."

Lambert's commanding vocal range and stage presence -- and the judges' adoration of him -- at times turned "Idol" into "The Adam Lambert Show," with the other contestants mere guests. But it turned out that "Idol" viewers could embrace a gifted performer like Lambert, one who sported black nail polish and bold self-assurance, only to a point.

Simon Cowell tipped his hat to both contestants Wednesday.

"To both of you, and I don't normally mean this, I thought you were both brilliant. .... The future's all yours," the judge said.

Before the results were announced, Lambert and Allen had a moment of musical camaraderie: They joined together with Queen on the rock anthem "We Are the Champions."

"Adam did win. So did Kris. Nobody lost tonight. These are two champions," said Paul Stanley from Kiss backstage.

The outcome echoed last year's contest, when Cowell all but crowned David Archuleta after the performance finale -- but the victory went to David Cook.

Lambert's triumph was never inevitable. When Allen and Lambert were declared the finalists last week, just 1 million viewer votes separated the pair out of 88 million cast.

Allen bloomed during the season, gaining more assurance onstage and winning viewers over with his smooth, heartfelt vocals, modest demeanor and well-scrubbed good looks.

Slash in American Idol

Is it a dream? Seeing Slash, ex-Guns n' Roses guitarist, in American Idol which is a pop show? Well, unfortunately, it isn't a dream. Slash really was mentoring the top 4 of American Idol 2009. I guess this is the first time that Idol really invited Rock n' Roll people. Imagine, seeing Slash played solo guitar watched by many kids who like Miley Cyrus?? C'mon..

There was an announced about Slash solo album filled with many great rock vocalist. Hmm... I wonder whether Axl will be participated? Check out the video..

Wrestling in Big Picture

Have you ever wonder if the wrestling you saw in TV was a real or a fake?

Let me answer it, yes it is a fake. But not every part of the wrestling was a fake. There are many parts that were real. Yes, the story or the scenario was being set up. But the others are real. The wrestler and the move are definitely real.

DO you know the blood in the wrestling can be real or fake? In the mainstream wrestling like WWE, maybe they are using fake blood. By in the live wrestling with no TV coverage, the blood and the action are likely to be real.

Just watch The Wrestler (Mickey Rourke, 2008), it is a really great movie. It shown the unknown part of proffessional wrestling. The critics give A for this movie. The movie shown how the blood was made.

The wrestler hid a sharp thing in his glove, and when he had chance, he used it to cut his forehead. A little cut in the face will make a lot of blood. So it will looks that he was badly injured.

The moves are also real so that sometimes we hear that a wrestler is taken to the hospital to do some surgery.

Real of Fake? It is still worth seeing..

Parodi Garing

Lawakannya jadi garing semua...

Smallville Season 7

A few days ago I watched the last episode of Smallville's season 7.

At first I thought that season 7 was the last episode of Smallville.

I thought the series was already too long.

Usually series which is too long will destroy the story its self. (For Indonesian, remember "Tersanjung"?)

Okay, Clark already graduated from High School, not clear whether he finished his college or not, and this was the perfect time to end the series.

The series plot was to tell about Clark Kent not the red-blue-suit Superman.

But I was wrong, the series doesn't stop in season 7.

The last episode of season 7 tells when Lex Luthor succeeded in made his way to the fortress and put the savior stone. The stone light came to Clark's body which made him powerless and made the fortress crumble.

The producer said that there will be season 8, and season 8 won't be the last.

Well guess that we have to wait to see Clark Kent fly in the sky.

Prison Break

Prison Break is one of my favourite serial DVD. Well, because I live in Indonesia I can not watch Prison Break regularly. The local TV aired it one episode a week. The cable TV does too. I am impatient to wait the upcoming episodes. So I watch it by DVD. Of course it is not original. Haha..

The story revolves around a man who was sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit and his brother's elaborate plan to help him escape his death sentence. Then he goes to prison for saving his brother. This is the story of the first season. The second season is about the running from the prison. The third season is about the story after the running in Panama.

The first time I saw the trailer, I was thinking that this serial is gonna be great. But after watch the first episode, I was thinking that this serial is like other drama serial. After episode by episode, I guess I am wrong.

This serial is great! Even after the second season, I think.. " Oh no... Third season will be second prison to escape, it must be boring..."

I guess I am wrong again. I am eager to watch the upcoming episodes!

Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?

Ok, last night I watched a quiz in TV called "Are you Smarter than a 5th grader?".

So in short, the quiz is a television game show format based on asking grade-school level questions to adults.

"Each game is played by a single contestant who earns money incrementally based on a payout ladder by answering simple trivia questions, with the game themed as a school quiz. The game relies on the fact that an adult would not know the information generally taught in elementary grade school, due to the fact it is rarely used in adult life." - wikipedia

And last night contestant was a woman who has business major in college.

She got a question like this :

if Y = 3x

3x = 12

then Y equals?

and guess what.. she can not answer it! doohhh....

it tickles me that this quiz is a lie..

but wait...

can you answer it??

michael johns

his name is michael johns, and he always did great with queen's songs. it is a pity he is already eliminated..

Lativi tanpa sinetrons??

Udah tau belum, kalo Lativi udah ganti kepemilikan?

- ngubah nama jadi TVOne per-14 Februari 2008
- program siarannya 55% berupa informasi tapi bukan berarti berubah menjadi stasiun televisi berita seperti Metro TV
(bad news buat sebagian orang, bukan saya lho..)

Apakah berhasil ngerebut iklan media massa?

medical series

mau ngelist ah serial medis yg menurut gw cukup terkenal.. cm 5 biji soalnya di upload imagenya cm bs 5.. ntar (mungkin) ada kelanjutannya..

1. HOUSE (MD)
- Menurut gw film seri medis plg bagus yg pernah ada
- Kombinasi ilmu medis : drama = 70 : 30

2. ER

- Film seri lama yg mash tayang sampe skr

- Bgs jg, posisi 2 setelah House menurut gw

3. Scrubs

- Film seri ini cm 20 menit (yg laen 40 menit)

- Genre komedi, tp ada ilmu medisnya dikit

4. Grey's Anatomy
- Favorit banyak orang, tp syg gw g suka
- Knp? To much drama..

5. General Hospital
- Bener2 murni drama, medis cm bekgroundnya aja

early edition

inget g si?

dulu sempet ada film seri yg judulnya 'early edition'.. ceritanya ttg orang yg tiap pagi dapet koran yg mestinya terbit bsk, jd dia bs tau apa yg bakal terjadi hr ini..

tugas dia bwt ngebenerin hr ini, kyk kalo ada kecelakaan mesti dicegah.. nah kalo sukses judul headline di koran yg dia bawa bkl berubah..

keren..

sayang seri ini g tuntas.. g laku kali y..

tp yg gw inget cerita pas tyt dia tau kalo ada orang lain sebelum dia yg dpt kejadian sama.. wkt dicari orgnya, yg dia dpt cm secarik kertas..

tulisannya "Live Ur Life"..

terpesona gw..

sumbernya dr : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_Edition

pilih firstmedia, indovision atau astro?

Emang si gw skr ini pake first media, g pnah pake yg laen, tp mau gw bandingin ni... diambil dr berbagai sumber..

* Kualitas gambar kdg berbintik2

* Bs make FastNet

* Area terbatas

* Cuaca berpengaruh, waktu banjir jkt tahun 2002 mati, tp banjir jkt tahun 2007 enggak

* Customer service paling ribet

* Mau paralel tv gampang bgt, independen lg

* Kualitas gambar bagus

* Bs paralel, tp make 1 decoder, jd kalo ada 2 tivi dlm 1 rmh yang lg ntn indovision, g bs beda channel

* Surga pecinta film2 hollywood

* G pengaruh sm cuaca tp bs terganggu wifi, bajaj lewat, sinyal bts

* Channel basic paket lbh banyak drpd yg laen

* Biaya pasang Rp.200.000-an

* Gratis 2 bulan paket movie dan sport,nominalnya 280ribu (paket movie indov 85rb dan paket sportnya 55ribu)

* Jadwal acara di tvnya paling lengkap, bs 12 jam ke depan

*Channel udah urut dr tv lokal dulu

* Punya malaysia

* Pake decoder jg, jd sistemnya sm kyk indovision

* Bs ntn liga inggris sepuasnya, saat ini di lativi masih nyiarin pertandingan yg bs dibilang murah

* Biaya pasangnya Rp. 200.000 dapet bonus

* Kalo cuaca buruk / petir bisa mati

* Mau diparalel ribet

* Kualitas gambar bagus, tp lebih bagusan indovision
* Surga pecinta sepak bola

* Banyak channel anak anak dan pendidikan

* Gratis paket movie selama setahun, nominalnya 600ribu( paket movie astro 50rb perbulan)

* Ktnya si mau bikin internet jg

* Minus MNC group dan ANTEVE

Jadiii... Kesimpulan :

- Biaya mah krg lebih sama lah semua, yg beda plg bonusnya aja

- First media / Kabelvision lebih gampang kalo mau diparalel, bs internetan

- Indovision gambar plg bagus, plg tahan cuaca, Film plg byk

- Astro bs puas2in ntn bola
